MIRRORS DON'T LIE
Registered Screenplay
By David Bold
A tormented man will evolve into a vampire unless he returns to his occult ridden hometown to
face the vampire and the cunning witch along with the vicious coven that protects him.
In life, you usually find out who you are as time goes on. For John Ashfeldt, he s about to find out WHAT.
In Mirrors Don't Lie , John had encountered Losso; a legendary and most gruesome vampire ten years
ago and must now return to his hometown where it all began and finish what was started. Upon his return,
John discovers his old hometown has become a world of witchcraft, vampirism, voodoo, spells, curses,
most resulting in death.
Losso had been presumed dead after being set ablaze in his lair along with John s best friend, Rollen,
who had been bitten by Losso. Losso and Rollen rise again, and having been scratched by Losso, John
must kill him alone or become a creature of the night himself.
However, John has a few obstacles he must deal with first: Drexia, a beautiful but ruthless witch, wants
nothing more than power and had resurrected Losso and Rollen for that very purpose. Donald, John s
seemingly supportive father, turns out to be a warlock and has an agenda of his own.
To take on these obstacles, John recruits three childhood friends who had become vampire hunters
after their fathers were murdered, and Angelica, a clever witch formerly of Drexia s coven.
Mirrors Don't Lie , a horror within a horror, is about standing up and conquering your greatest fears while
leaving nothing to chance where nothing is as it seems. Forget about what scared you in the movies, this
screenplay has witches, vampires and phantoms all rolled into one.
